An Appeal.

A survey conducted by Govt of India reveals that 5.5 million people are suffering from Loco- motor disabilities in India of which about 1 million people have lost their limbs and 4 million people are suffering from polio. The Annual increase in the population and amputees in India is around 25,000.Therefore, the need of the hour is augmentation in the fitment of artificial limbs, which has to be further augmented on a large scale to meet the needs of the people, which involve tremendous voluntary donations of this noble cause.

This institution “Mahaveer Limb Center” is a Non Govt Organization and is catering and rendering the very best Possible services to mankind .As such, the members contribute to this noble cause which involves a huge expenditure running to lakhs of rupees. The average expenditure to make an artificial limb is Rs.1500 –00 & each day we receive more than 4 to 5 Patients.
We therefore appeal to the kind donors and philanthropists to donate generously .The saying is very Apt.” Their left hand does not know what the right and gives”.
